The Windmill City, Holland

While in Holland we stopped of at the windmill city. It had shops and lots of old windmills that are acually still in use. They are mills that create products such as chalk and also to saw wood and wheat etc. They use wind to operate the machinery. It was fascinating.

There were also ducks and geese as well as sheep on the farms there. The ducks really like french fries.

Of course we all had to get in the big wooden shoe for a picture.

Mackeys burger from Big Emmas.

The boiggest burger ever...except this is only the 1/2 size. They have one bigger than this!! Lillie helped too!!

You Are Only As Young As You Feel.

Aunt Laura had a birthday while she was visiting us. We took her to Big Emmas for dinner.
Yummy food, lots of candles and gifts.

Life is like a bicycle: you don't fall off until you stop pedaling

What can you say about Amsterdam except watch out for the bikes!

This was creepy

The Grasshopper coffee shop. We wanted to use the bathroom so we went in to get a drink and the lady said she didn't sell coffee. We asked her what do you sell? She said Pot. LOL

Guarding the Eiffel Tower

We had lunch at the Lourve. We ate at Le Cafe Marley. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was fantastic. We ate outside with a view of the pyramids in the courtyard.

We took a boat tour of Paris. It was a nice day and the weather was perfect. The tour told a lot about the history of the city and buildings.

Fun day at the playground.

The children went on a field trip today to an aquarium. It was rather dark inside and we didnt get much in the way of pictures. The park nearby had a really neat spider playground. Lillie and Jacob had fun.
