On the far-away island of Sala-ma-Sond, Yertle the Turtle was king of the pond.

This is LillieGraces new turtle. He/She is as of yet unnamed. We are leaning toward Yertle ( as in the Dr. Seuss book. ) We have been thru Texas, Molly, Mavis, and Lazy Bones and we have only had it a week.

He is about 10 inches long. His shell is just a little longer than my hand.

So far he/she is being a good turtle.
